During the week many different books are shared during our Literacy Time. These read alouds allow us to expand our knowledge and find out many interesting things about many different topics! This is where you can come to look and see all the COOL things we've learned about and the websites we may have visited. Have fun exploring!
CICADAS!!!
Today as we were walking out to recess, a student noticed something on the side of a tree. On closer investigation, we saw a Cicada that had just molted! The exoskeleton was on the tree and the Cicada was allowing itself to circulate blood and dry it's wings after molting. It was a pretty cool thing to see, so we came back in to quickly find out more information! Check out these links and share them with your family!

Punxsutawney Phil - Groundhog Day!
We predicted whether or not we thought the Groundhog would see his shadow on Groundhog Day. Most of us thought that he WOULD see his shadow, but after we checked, we found out we were wrong!
