![]() Dr. Kearsten and Dr. Ben Thomas beginning surgery... Today was a very interesting day in Room 2D... our classroom was transformed into a hospital and we all became Surgeons! We found all the tools we needed, put on gloves and face masks, and went to work performing surgery on some words that needed our help to become contractions! We had to cut out the letters we didn't need, and then stitch the words back together again, being sure to add a band aid to cover up the scar we created when cutting with our scalpels. What a FUN learning experience! I hope you heard ALL about it... if not, check out the pictures to see just how much FUN we had!

This was a super idea! I wish I could have done fun things like this in my second grade class. Kearsten was quick to tell me all about it when she got home. She loved it!! The pictures are great as well, fun memories!!!
